Privacy

Last updated 13 October 2026. Applies to nyuman.org: the Nyuman study apps beta and the contact form on the foundation page.

Who we are

Nyuman is run by Tracy Tong Yu and Rickard Nyman. For anything about your data, email rickardnyman@gmail.com.

What we keep

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share your data.

Some pages show LinkedIn posts. These are loaded from LinkedIn, which may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.

Why

To run the beta: to save your progress so you can continue on any device, to fix problems you report, and to learn whether the apps help, for example how often testers come back. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running and improving the beta, and your request to take part.

Who processes it

Your data is stored with our database provider, Supabase, and the site runs on Vercel. Writing feedback in the German app is produced by an AI model run on Amazon Web Services; your text is sent there for marking and is not used to train the model.

How long

Until the end of the beta and six months after, unless you ask us to delete it earlier. Then we delete it, or keep only totals that cannot identify you.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or to stop taking part, at any time. Email us and we will do it within a month. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live (in the UK, the ICO).
